Orchids
For every type of soil and plant, the productivity in a conservatory depends upon many factors such as the hygrometry in the air, the soil, the temperature, the luminosity, the quality of the air, the carbon dioxide ratio, the nutritious elements,... DID Clim misting can regulate some of these factors such as hygrometry and the air temperature, the soil’s humidity, thus improving the plant’s productivity.

Certain plants lose a part of the water they retain through transpiration and others on the contrary, absorb water.
They also consume carbon that they need for their growth through their leaves (in the form of carbon dioxide).
By controlling the function of their pores with the help of an effective climate regulating system, the results are visible in terms of growth and quality.
There is no better method to control these factors all year round than a well designed and well installed DID Clim misting system.
The DID Clim system lets one disperse micro-droplets of water (average size of 5 microns) homogeneously and it helps regulate the surrounding weather conditions. Also, in summer, by merging DID Clim misting and a good ventilation system (see the reminder of thermodynamic principles) one can obtain a genuine cooling effect (independently of greenhouse whitening). In winter, DID Clim misting can effectively correct the air’s hygrometry and avoid wetting the floor.
The hygrometry in the orchid conservatory must be regulated precisely with the help of hygrometry sensors.
De-mineralized water misting
Misting for orchid conservatories requires the use of water treated through osmosis. In some cases (for sanitary reasons for example), we can decide to put up the whole installation in stainless steel (pumps, cupboards, lines, nozzles,...). The water used for misting can go through osmosis (contains no minerals), be regularly disinfected and all the ducts drained daily.

Our company often actively participates in determining the functioning parameters of the misting system such as optimizing the mode of functioning (multi-zone management, integrating multiple factors such as sunshine, hygrometry, temperature,...).
